Computer abuse department
Dec. 1st, 2008 09:53 amRineen (the t-30 laptop) crashed overnight. It's done this before. Hopefully heat related, but... it's kinda old. Looks like the disk is on it's way out. Since I think I have a replacement somewhere, there a ghosting job ahead. And a cleaning.
The new laptop, Blackweir (a ibm t-61) is currently abusing it's disk as I copy about 28g of movies/cartoons from the internal drive to an external over usb2. At the same time, I'm downloading the latest openbsd to said external, reading email & LJ, and a few other things.
No wonder things are a bit slow :-).
